Overview

After decades of planning, the WRMP was established in 2016. Another key milestone occurred In 2022, when the WRMP officially started implementation as a co-administered program led by SFEI and the San Francisco Estuary Partnership. Staff from across our Resilient landscapes, Environmental Informatics, and Science Communications programs collaborate internally, with the Estuary Partnership, and across the region to collect and provide critical information about our tidal wetlands – all to support answering key management questions posed by regulatory and management agencies, elected officials, municipalities, and the general public.

Visit wrmp.org for data and details

The wrmp.org website is the Program’s online hub, aligning the region around the health and management of our tidal wetlands by summarizing data, highlighting key takeaways, and providing public access to regional data. It also includes background information about the Program’s structure and framework, as well as links to other regional resources.
