Background

Will Geiken is an Associate Project Manager for the Clean Water Program at SFEI where he works closely with the Nutrient Management Strategy team to improve the understanding of nutrients' role in the San Francisco Estuary. Prior to working at SFEI, Will was a California Sea Grant State Fellow at the San Francisco Estuary Partnership where he helped coordinate the State of the San Francisco Estuary Conference and the Estuary Youth Council Program. His previous experience also includes several years as an outdoor educator for elementary and middle school students as well as planning positions at Channel Islands National Park and Santa Clara County Parks. He received a BA in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University and a MESM from the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at UCSB.
