Through the Nutrient Management Strategy (NMS) program’s history, the NMS Steering Committee (SC) has emphasized the need for accessible science communication across the program, including plain language report summaries, program-level reports, and finalizing older draft reports. In response to that need, and with the benefit of augmented program capacity, the NMS is allocating an annual science communication budget to deliver the desired science communication products. The goal of this plan is to outline the series of products that will be supported by that budget as well as their primary audiences.
