Sasha Mariniuk joined SFEI as an Environmental Analyst for the Clean Water Program and Bay Regional Monitoring Program in 2025. After graduating with a degree in Environmental Studies and Biology, he worked with the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Board as a Scientific Aide and Watershed Steward.  During that time, Sasha helped regulate wastewater dischargers with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and conducted water quality studies in support of the Surface Water Ambient Monitoring Program (SWAMP). Sasha will continue to use his experience with water quality sampling and data analysis to support diverse monitoring and research activities with the RMP.
