Background

Lucy Montgomery is an Environmental Analyst for the Nutrient Management Strategy and Clean Water Program at SFEI. She received her BA in Biology from Reed College where she worked on-campus to restore and preserve the Johnson Creek watershed. Post-college, Lucy worked as a corpsmember for the Watershed Stewards Program at the SF Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board on the Surface Water Ambient Monitoring Program. Through this work she assisted with SFEI’s Moored Sensor program as a field hand. On the MS team she will continue working on water quality monitoring as well as high frequency sensor maintenance and data interpretation. She is passionate about studying the urban interface and the ways in which the San Francisco Bay is dynamically related to the communities that surround it.
