This report provides an overview of the Nutrient Management Strategy Moored Sensor Program's major accomplishments and findings between November 2025 and March 2026. Highlights include installing a new station in San Pablo Bay, installing a new station at the northern end of the Salt Pond A8 complex, adding telemetry to the Alameda Pier station, moving a wave sensor from San Leandro Marina station to the Hayward station, installing a temporary depth sensor on the San Leandro Marina station, purchasing depth sensors to the Salt Pond A8 and A7 stations, retiring the MiniDOT sensors used in the Guadalupe and Alviso sloughs, and publishing the Moored Sensor Program's datasets on the SFEI website. All these adjustments are intended to fill data gaps identified by the Steering Committee and the Nutrient Management Strategy science team. The team observed a small spring phytoplankton bloom that coincided with the warm temperatures in March and high turbidity at the San Pablo Bay sensor that is likely the result of the sediment-rich Petaluma River outflow.
