By all accounts, the celebration of the RMP’s 25th anniversary at the Annual Meeting on October 6 was a resounding success.  From the start with our distinguished opening panel (Steve Weisberg, Jim Cloern, and Karin North) through to the inspiring finish with Kelly Moran, the speakers rose to this special occasion.  Many RMP alumni also attended throughout the day, including some of the folks who worked to establish the Program a quarter century ago.  The social after the meeting was one of the all-time highlights of the RMP, with colorful stories of the early days, a passing of the torch to the new generation of RMP scientists, and timeless advice from Steve Ritchie.
