The meeting focused on the review of draft outcomes of the small tributaries loading strategy (STLS) tasks:

  1. Develop criteria and Rank watersheds (for loading related studies)
  2. Optimize sampling methods for loads and trends
  3. Group recommendations for 2011 priority projects for funding (revisit and confirm what is written in the STLS document)

Secondary topics included:

  1. Update on modeling tasks
  2. Update of loadings studies for the year (Z4LA storm drain, Guadalupe River, and Sacramento River)
  3. Summary of expected times lines for completion all the currently assigned projects tasks

Three reports have recently been released, and are available on-line:

  1. Guadalupe Watershed model report
  2. Concentrations and loads of trace contaminants in the Z4LA small tributary
  3. Watershed specific and regional suspended sediment loads for Bay Area
