TK Cheng (she/her), P.E., is a senior coastal engineer in the San Francisco Estuary Institute’s Resilient Landscapes Program specializing in nature-based infrastructure, hydrodynamic modeling, and sea level rise adaptation. Previously serving as an engineering technical lead across industry and government in Northern and Central California, she has directed multidisciplinary teams through all project phases—from planning and design to construction and monitoring—on initiatives including dredged material re-use, ecosystem restoration, and coastal navigation repairs. She holds an M.S. in Coastal & Ocean Engineering from Oregon State University and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from MIT.
