Elaine Zhou is a Technology Analyst on the Data Services team. She has previously worked in community-based participatory research spanning youth education, public air pollution monitoring, climate attribution, and political ecology. Their experience and interests lie in building infrastructures and tools driven by and alongside local environmental action. At SFEI, Elaine supports monitoring efforts and environmental data maintenance, access, and reporting with the RMP. She graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Environment, Geography, and Urbanization.
