GeoFetch: A One-Stop Shop for SFEI Data
GeoFetch is an on-line catalog of SFEI’s spatial data including GIS data, websites, services and static maps. It was developed using an extension of ESRI’s ArcGIS software package.

Santa Clara Valley Water District Pilots the 1-2-3 Framework.
SFEI successfully transferred the 1-2-3 Framework for comprehensive assessment of aquatic resources to the SCVWD through EOA. The SCVWD used the Framework to assess its stewardship of the Coyote Creek Watershed.

Internal Beta Launch of SFEI's GeoFetch
Kristen Cayce, Shira Bezalel and Gregory Tseng successfully released the Beta version of SFEI's Geoportal to the GIS user group at SFEI. The Geoportal team has developed a data management plan that streamlines organization and accessibility of SFEI’s spatial data.

Michael May presented in Sacramento to the state 401 program coordinating committee (CORCOM) news on the re-branding of the Wetland Tracker as the “California Wetlands Portal” in keeping with its new role as part of the state board My Water Quality portal.

The Safe to Eat Fish and Shellfish Internet Portal
SFEI, together with SWAMP are developing an interactive web application called "The Safe to Eat Fish and Shellfish" Internet Portal for California Water Council. The intent of the portal is to inform environmental managers and the general public oncontaminant levels in fish throughout the State.

Another example of a web dashboard built using R comes from John Oram, a scientist at the San Francisco Estuary Institute. SFEI collects and monitors environmental data from the waters and wetlands of the Bay Area.

Wetland Tracker pilot well received by Regional Water Quality Control Board
