The Regional Monitoring Program for Water Quality in San Francisco Bay (RMP) is a collaboration between SFEI, regulators, and regulated stakeholders. Its goal is to collect data and communicate information about water quality in San Francisco Bay in support of management decisions. The RMP convenes workgroups one to three times a year to address high priority water quality topics.

The Sediment Workgroup consists of scientists who study the Bay, technical advisors who are nationally and internationally recognized experts in sediment  science, federal and state regulators, and representatives from stakeholder groups that participate in the RMP.

Meetings are hybrid or remote and open to the public. If you’d like to attend, please contact Scott Dusterhoff at [email protected]
