Want to understand why the tiniest of sea creatures are incredibly important to our oceans? Come check out SFEI’s sensors that we use to keep an eye on algae and nutrient levels throughout the Bay. You can even take a peek with our microscopes and then draw your favorite ones!

Into marine life and climate data? The Exploratorium has tons of activities to choose from. Start by watching a crane hoist San Francisco Bay’s data-collection buoy from the water onto the pier. Then YOU can help identify the aquatic life on its underside!

Curious about how to make our cities greener and help them adapt to our ever-changing climate? Become a Rain Guardian with the San Francisco Public Utilities demonstration! You can adopt a rain garden, sign up to get a free rain catchment barrel, or adopt a storm drain.
