The goal of this update and workplan is to document the process used to update Management Questions s 1 and 2 and develop science questions, as well as articulate a 5-year workplan the Sediment Workgroup of the Regional Monitoring Program for Water Quality in San Francisco Bay (RMP) can use to prioritize and fund special studies that contribute to our understanding of the impacts and benefits of beneficially reusing dredged sediment for marsh resilience in the San Francisco Estuary. The priorities outlined in this workplan are more extensive in scope and budget than can be funded by the RMP alone but are included to provide a full picture of the regional priorities for advancing techniques and applications of beneficially reused dredged sediment and help spur collaboration.
