Download Spartina Aerial ImagesDownload the aerial images in MrSID format. A free MrSID viewer for Windows, Macintosh and Unix can be found at LizardTech. Each MrSID (sid) file has an accompanying world (sdw) file with location data. If you do not intend to use the image with GIS software, you do not need to download the .sdw file. Note: Some browsers are not set up to recognize .sid or .sdw files, and may try to view the file as text. If you have download problems, click and hold (or right-click) on each link to access your browser’s pop-up menu to download the files. Most of this imagery can also be viewed on the EcoAtlas Information System. Images made available by San Francisco Bay Invasive Spartina Project and the San Francisco Estuary Institute. The project was made possible through funding from the Calfed Bay Delta Program, the California Coastal Conservancy, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Coastal Program.
