Near-total lead (Pb) concentrations in water
in parts per billion (ppb) at 24 RMP stations sampled
in January 1997. Data for April and August 1997
were not available at the time of report production.
Note logarithmic scale. Concentrations for January
ranged from 0.08 to 11.91 ppb. The highest concentration
was sampled at Sunnyvale (C-1-3) and the lowest
at Golden Gate (BC20). Average concentrations were
highest (8.51 ppb) in the Southern Sloughs and lowest
(0.31 ppb) in the Central Bay. Ten samples were
above the 4-day average WQO for total lead (saltwater
5.6 ppb, freshwater--hardness dependent). |
