Near-total copper (Cu) concentrations in water
in parts per billion (ppb) at 24 RMP stations sampled
in January, April, and August 1997. Concentrations
ranged from 0.46 to 14.4 ppb. The highest concentration
was sampled at Sunnyvale (C-1-3) in January and
the lowest at Golden Gate (BC20) in January. Average
concentrations were highest (10.9 ppb) in the Southern
Sloughs in January and lowest (1.32 ppb) in the
Central Bay in August. Copper is compared to guidelines
only on a dissolved basis. |
