This project consists of an effort to enhance EcoAtlas to serve as the shared and primary point of collection for project data, then actively transfer the data to Delta View. Delta View is a tool developed by the Delta Stewardship Council to track the progress of actions, and improve the accountability and transparency of Delta actions. Delta View will leverage the enhanced capabilities of EcoAtlas to provide more robust, timely, and accurate reporting on Delta habitat restoration projects in support of Proposition 1 and other programs. By unifying information in this way, project tracking and reporting will become less duplicative and more capable in offering features that can effectively target the needs of the Delta Stewardship Council and other Delta-based organizations.

California's EcoAtlas provides access to information for effective wetland management. EcoAtlas is a set of tools for generating, assembling, storing, visualizing, sharing, and reporting environmental data and information. The tools can be used individually or together, and they can be adjusted or tuned to meet the specific needs of environmental planners, regulators, managers, scientists, and educators. The maps and tools can be used to create a complete picture of aquatic resources in the landscape by integrating stream and wetland maps, restoration information, and monitoring results with land use, transportation, and other information important to the state’s wetlands.
