GeoFetch: A One-Stop Shop for SFEI Data

GeoFetch is an on-line catalog of SFEI’s spatial data including GIS data, websites, services and static maps. It was developed using an extension of ESRI’s ArcGIS software package. The development team includes Gregory Tseng (IT Support/GIS Analyst), Nancy Hoebelheinrich (GIS Intern), Kristen Cayce (GIS Manager) and Shira Bezalel (Systems Administrator). The team customized GeoFetch to fit SFEI and partner needs resulting in a tool where users can search our data library with keywords, view metadata for all entries, download SFEI-generated data and provide feedback. Next steps for GeoFetch include more downloadable data, integration of other data libraries, and support for open source data. Register to receive notification of upgrades.
