SFEI Historical Ecologists Present Seminar at the Delta Science Program Brownbag Series

Alison Whipple and Robin Grossinger presented a seminar "Habitat Characteristics that Made Delta Landscapes Unique: Perspectives for Ecosystem Restoration" at the Delta Science Program brownbag series.

A large crowd representing a range of state agencies and NGOs attended the talk, which presented emerging findings of the Delta Historical Ecology Study. This research is contributing to the development of restoration plans for the region, including the Delta Plan and those of the Ecosystem Restoration Program of the California Department of Fish and Game (DFG).
