In May 2015, SFEI staff organized and led a workshop of regional experts in support of BCDC's Policies for a Rising Bay project which is investigating potential changes to their Bay Fill policy in light of sea level rise. As part of this workshop, SFEI developed a regional shoreline typology, integrating Bay and watershed processes and land use. This was used to identify potential appropriate locations for green and grey adaptation solutions for mid- to late-century sea level rise scenarios for several case studies in a variety of settings around the Bay.
