Ecology, Assemblage Structure, Distribution, and Status of Fishes in Streams Tributary to the San Francisco Estuary, California
by Robert A. Leidy, EPA
This report discusses the composition of stream fish assemblages and environmental variables that were characterized at 275 sites within twenty-three watersheds tributary to the San Francisco Estuary, California, from 1993-1999. In addition, historical distribution records for 77 native and nonnative fish species were compiled to understand historical patterns of distribution and abundance, and to assess the current status of fishes.
