Note: SFEI no longer updates the CMARP Monitoring Program Inventory,
but it may be useful as a reference or resource. Last updated in 1999.

Developed for the CALFED Bay-Delta Program, the Comprehensive Monitoring, Assessment and Research Program (CMARP) is designed to provide understanding of the processes in the Bay-Delta and its watershed relevant to CALFED program actions. The CMARP Inventory identifies existing environmental monitoring programs in the CALFED regions. Information about programs in the inventory includes program objectives, questions addressed through monitoring, spatial coverage, parameters monitored, and primary contact.

Over 600 monitoring and research related programs or projects have been included.  These programs include a wide range of federal, state, municipal, and local volunteer programs that encompass most of the CALFED program areas.

The UC Davis Information Center for the Environment, Interagency Ecological Program, and the Municipal Water Quality Investigations Program of the California Department of Water Resources have made significant contributions to the content of this inventory.
