of programs that are water quality based and monitor receiving waters.
Please use the following guidelines to determine the applicability of the
program you wish to enter.
Geographical:
-
saline or estuarine waters up
to the head of tide
-
major programs which monitor
in close proximity to coastal waters (for example, the Sacramento/San Joaquin
Delta)
Temporal:
-
ongoing multiyear programs
-
recently completed discrete
programs
Parameters Measured:
-
must be water quality related
or include water quality parameters. (For instance, a trawl net survey
program with catch data only would not be applicable. However, a trawl
net survey program that included some water quality data would be.)
-
water quality parameters include
physical, chemical, or toxicity data
-
related data may include sediment
chemistry or toxicity, benthic, or tissue bioaccumulation parameters
Programmatic:
-
only documented programs with
formalized Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPP) and information available
to the general public
-
programs which monitor receiving
waters are the target of this inventory, however those which monitor effluent
may also be included
-
NPDES
programs and updates
